Policy for Coronavirus Testing Labs

Federal Register notice: FDA has made available a final guidance entitled “Policy for Diagnostics Testing in Laboratories Certified to Perform High Complexity Testing under CLIA prior to Emergency Use Authorization for Coronavirus Disease-2019 during the Public Health Emergency.” The document describes a policy for laboratories using tests they develop and validate before FDA has issued an Emergency Use Authorization for their test in order to achieve more rapid coronavirus testing capacity in the U.S. To view the notice, click here.
