Priority Voucher Used on Kisqali sNDA

Federal Register notice: FDA is announcing that it approved on 9/17 a product application that redeemed a priority review voucher —Novartis’ Kisqali (ribociclib) for combination use with an aromatase inhibitor for the adjuvant treatment of people with hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative Stage II and III early breast cancer at high risk of recurrence, including those with node-negative disease. Kisqali is described as a selective cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor that works by slowing cancer progression through its inhibition of proteins cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6.
