# PTC Says Huntingdon’s Trial ‘Paused’ in the U.S.

PTC Therapeutics says enrollment in its Phase 2 PIVOT-HD trial of PTC518 to treat Huntingdon’s disease has been paused in the U.S. due to an FDA request for additional data to allow the study to proceed. A company [statement](https://ir.ptcbio.com/news-releases/news-release-details/ptc-provides-update-ongoing-global-pivot-hd-trial-ptc518?ref=fdaweb.com) says trial enrollment “is active and ongoing” in other sites globally.

“To date, there have been no treatment-related adverse events reported in the U.S. or outside of the U.S.,” PTC says.
