Researcher Cited for ‘Objectionable Conditions’

An FDA Bioresearch Monitoring Program inspection at the clinical site maintained by Dr. Antonio Blanco/Vista Health Research in Miami, FL, found objectionable conditions that did not adhere to the requirements in the law and regulations governing the conduct of two clinical investigations and the protection of human subjects. A just-released 9/26 Warning Letter says the site failed to ensure that the investigations were conducted according to the investigational plan.

Blanco was told to respond with a list of specific steps taken to prevent similar violations in the future.
