Rocket Pharma Sells Priority Voucher for $180 Million

Rocket Pharmaceuticals says it has agreed to sell an FDA rare pediatric disease priority review voucher for $180 million to support its gene therapy pipeline. The voucher was awarded for gaining accelerated approval for Kresladi (marnetegragene autotemcel). The company now expects its existing cash resources, combined with proceeds from the sale, to fund operations into the second quarter of 2028.

Rocket says the funds will primarily support its clinical-stage cardiovascular pipeline, including gene therapy programs targeting Danon disease, PKP2-associated arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, and BAG3-associated dilated cardiomyopathy.

The buyer’s name was not disclosed.
