The alert is based on a company [recall notice](https://www.hologic.com/biozorb-3d-bioabsorbable-marker-important-recall-information?ref=fdaweb.com) due to reports of serious adverse events occurring in patients who had the devices implanted in breast tissue. The devices are used in soft tissue sites, including breast tissue for radiographic marking.
