# Sanofi/GSK to Submit Covid Vaccine Data

Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline say they will submit data to FDA supporting their request for regulatory authorization for a Covid-19 vaccine. The companies [say](https://www.sanofi.com/en/media-room/press-releases/2022/2022-02-23-11-15-00-2390091?ref=fdaweb.com) that in a Phase 3 trial, two doses of the vaccine demonstrated 100% efficacy against severe Covid-19 disease and hospitalizations, 75% efficacy against moderate or severe Covid-19 disease, and 57.9% efficacy against any symptomatic Covid-19 disease. The vaccine also had a favorable safety profile, the companies say.
