Shanghai Junshi/Coherus Biosciences Rolling BLA

Shanghai Junshi Biosciences and Coherus Biosciences have begun a rolling BLA submission for toripalimab for treating recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Toripalimab is the first anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody developed and approved in China that has made it to a BLA submission in the U.S., the companies say. In February, they entered into a collaboration for developing and commercializing toripalimab in the U.S. and Canada. In 9/2020, toripalimab was granted a Breakthrough Therapy Designation by FDA for the NPC indication. Coherus and Junshi Biosciences also plan to file additional toripalimab BLA supplements over the next three years for multiple rare cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer.
