Shuffert Debarred for 5 Years

Federal Register notice: FDA is issuing an order to debar for five years Robert Lance Shuffert from importing or offering for import any drug into the U.S. The order is based on a finding that Shuffert was convicted of one felony count of intent to defraud and mislead, causing a drug to be misbranded while it was held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. His conduct occurred while working for Science Production Products. The company imported, created, marketed, and distributed for sale purported bodybuilding and dietary supplements, including selective androgen receptor modulators, which are synthetic chemicals designed to mimic the effects of testosterone and other anabolic steroids.
