American Diversified Holdings has acquired Houston-based Brazos Biomedical. The transaction gives American Diversified the AURACIS TENS Migraine therapy system, including all patents and patent applications in the U.S. and abroad, patent license agreements, technical engineering schematics, FDA plans, patient study information and other related assets.

LabCorp has acquired Sciformix, a scientific process outsourcing company focused on pharmacovigilance and regulatory solutions for biopharmaceutical and medical devices clients. Sciformix will become part of Covance, LabCorp’s drug development business.

Boston Scientific has agreed to acquire NxThera, a privately-held company based in Maple Grove, MN for $306 million upfront and an additional $100 million in potential commercial milestone payments over the next four years. The transaction gives Boston Scientific the Rezum, a treatment system for men with symptoms arising from benign prostatic hyperplasia.
