**AstraZeneca** has sold the U.S. rights to its anesthetic portfolio to **Aspen Global**for $555 million. The portfolio includes Diprivan, EMLA, Xylocaine/Xylocard/Xyloproct, Marcaine, Naropin, Carbocaine and Citanest, according to the companies. The deal comes about 14 months after Aspen acquired the non-U.S. rights to the same portfolio of drugs.

**Teva Pharmaceutical Industries** has agreed to sell the remaining assets of its specialty global women’s health business for $703 million to **CVC Capital Partners Fund VI**. Teva has also entered into a definitive agreement under which **Foundation Consumer Healthcare** will acquire Plan B One-Step and Teva’s value brands of emergency contraception, Take Action, Aftera, and Next Choice One Dose for $675 million.

**Invicro**, an imaging services and software for research and drug development provider, has acquired **Imanova** to establish what it calls the world’s largest provider of translational imaging services and analytics from pre-clinical development through to late-phase clinical trials. The services of the combined business covers the translational spectrum, ranging from novel biomarker evaluation and development in early discovery to late-phase clinical trials support.
