**DePuy Ireland** has announced plans to acquire **Neuravi Ltd.**, a privately held Irish company foicusing on neurovascular therapies and improving clinical outcomes for acute ischemic stroke patients. The transaction will give DePuy access to the EmboTrap Revascularization Platform. The device is engineered to restore blood flow to the brain by retrieving a clot with its proprietary dual-layer stent-like structure.

**Teva Pharmaceutical** reportedly is considering the sale of its women’s health unit as a means to reduce debt. Analysts are estimating that the unit could sell for about $2 billion.

**Astellas Pharma** has agreed to acquire **Ogeda SA**, a privately owned firm that discovers and develops small molecule drugs targeting G-protein coupled receptors. The lead investigational candidate, fezolinetant, is a selective NK3 receptor antagonist, and positive data from a Phase 2a study result for the non-hormonal treatment of menopause-related vasomotor symptoms was announced earlier this year.
