# SoClean Recalls CPAP Device Cleaners

SoClean has recalled its SoClean2 and SoClean3 equipment that is used to clean, sanitize, or disinfect CPAP sleep apnea devices and accessories. The [recall](https://www.soclean.com/field-correction?ref=fdaweb.com)[ ](http://www.fda.gov/about-fda/website-policies/website-disclaimer?ref=fdaweb.com)comprises a new User Manual with additional instructions for use and a hose and mask adapter that is intended to help reduce potential health risks of exposure to ozone gas after the use of a SoClean device.

An [FDA notice](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/safety-communications/voluntary-recall-soclean-equipment-intended-use-cpap-devices-and-accessories-fda-safety?ref=fdaweb.com) says users should not use the SoClean2 or SoClean3 without the hose and mask adapter provided by the manufacturer. It also says they should never connect SoClean equipment to the CPAP device when the CPAP device is in use. Additionally, it says they should read the new version of the User Manual for SoClean2 and SoClean3 and carefully follow the instructions.
