# Some Medical Gloves Removed From Shortage List

FDA has updated its [device shortage list](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/medical-gloves-covid-19?ref=fdaweb.com) to remove medical gloves (product codes LYY, LYZ, LZA, and LZC). The gloves were placed on the list during the early pandemic days. Affected products include latex patient examination gloves, vinyl patient examination gloves, polymer patient examination gloves, and specialty patient examination gloves. Other glove types remain on the shortage list, and the agency says its [Enforcement Policy](https://www.fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/enforcement-policy-gowns-other-apparel-and-gloves-during-coronavirus-disease-covid-19-public-health?ref=fdaweb.com) for Gowns, Other Apparel, and Gloves During the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Public Health Emergency is still in effect.
