# Some Roche Handheld Medical Devices at Risk: Report

The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center says several Roche handheld medical devices have cybersecurity risks that could be exploited with adjacent access and a low skill level. The [notice](https://ics-cert.us-cert.gov/advisories/ICSMA-18-310-01?ref=fdaweb.com) says the vulnerabilities include improper authentication, OS command injection, unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type, and improper access control.

“Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to modify system settings or execute arbitrary code,” the report says.
