# Sonoma Pharma 510(k) Cleared for Antimicrobial Gel

FDA has cleared a Sonoma Pharmaceuticals 510(k) for an antimicrobial post-therapy gel, intended for use in managing post-non-ablative laser therapy procedures and post-microdermabrasion therapy as well for use following superficial chemical peels. The company says it may also be used to relieve itch and pain from minor skin irritations, lacerations, abrasions and minor burns. Clinical testing has shown improved outcomes with quick healing times and less patient discomfort, it says.
