# Stryker Q Guidance for Computer-assisted Surgery Cleared

FDA has cleared a Stryker 510(k) for its Q Guidance System, which is intended to be used with the company’s spine guidance software, for advanced planning and intraoperative guidance during open or percutaneous computer-assisted surgery. The company says the software is the first to receive clearance for use with pediatric patients aged 13 and older.

The device features a high-performance navigation camera, semi-automatic and automatic segmentation features, gesture recognition, and broad compatibility with various types of image sets, according to the company. “When used with Airo TruCT mobile CT scanner, this ecosystem delivers automatic image registration and pairs high performance tracking capabilities with cutting edge intraoperative image quality and scan volume,” it says.
