*Federal Register* Notice: FDA has determined that Endo Pharmaceuticals’ Parkinson’s drug Symmetrel (amantadine hydrochloride), syrup, 50 milligrams/5 milliliters (50 mg/5 mL), was not withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness. This determination means that the agency can allow ANDA approvals for products that reference Symmetrel if all other legal and regulatory requirements are met.
