OncoSec says the Phase 2 KEYNOTE-695 trial of its Tavo-EP proprietary interleukin 12 encoding plasmid delivered by intratumoral electroporation in combination with Merck’s Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in patients with advanced melanoma refractory to anti-PD-1 treatment failed to meet its primary endpoint of overall response rate. A company [statement](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/oncosec-announces-clinical-data-keynote-110000460.html?ref=fdaweb.com) says OncoSec plans to pursue Tavo-EP in combination with anti-PD-1 therapy in the neoadjuvant melanoma setting, an indication it says is supported by data from an investigator-sponsored trial.

A meeting with FDA to discuss a Phase 2 trial design and future development plans in the melanoma neoadjuvant setting is scheduled in May, the company says.
