# Teleflex Recalls Tracheostomy Tube Set

Teleflex Medical has begun a Class 1 recall of its Willy Rusch Tracheostomy Tube Set which is used for cannulation of tracheotomized patients, particularly for narrow tracheostoma and narrow-lumen tracheas. A [recall notice](http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfRes/res.cfm?ID=149196&ref=fdaweb.com) says the connector may disconnect from the tracheostomy tube during use. At this time, the cause of the error is undetermined by the firm.
