Travere Therapeutics Plans Filspari sNDA

Travere Therapeutics says it plans to submit an sNDA to FDA for traditional approval of a new indication for Filspari (sparsentan) to treat focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. A company statement says the sNDA will be based on data from the Phase 3 DUPLEX and Phase 2 DUET studies. It is to be submitted near the end of the first quarter of 2025, Travere says.

Filspari is currently indicated to slow kidney function decline in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy who are at risk for disease progression.
