Under a 4/15 presidential [Executive Order](https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/04/lowering-drug-prices-by-once-again-putting-americans-first/?ref=fdaweb.com), FDA has 180 days to issue a report with recommendations to **(1)** accelerate the approval of generics, biosimilars, combination products, and second-in-class branded medications; and **(2)** improve the process through which prescription drugs can be reclassified as over-the-counter medications.
