Vaccines Panel to Discuss Pediatric Covid Vaccines

FDA has announced a 6/10 Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meeting to discuss Covid-19 vaccines and their use in the pediatric population. During the meeting, the agency will provide a status update on its approach to emergency use authorization (EUA) for Covid-19 vaccines intended for use in individuals aged 12 through 17 years. Panel members will also discuss the data needed to support an EUA and a BLA for a Covid-19 vaccine intended for use in children less than 12 years of age, an FDA notice says. No specific products will be discussed during the meeting.
