# Viatrexx Recalls Sterile Injectable Products

Viatrexx Bio has recalled all products in 10 mL sterile injectable vials because they were manufactured in a manner that cannot guarantee their sterility. “Administration of a non-sterile product, intended to be sterile, may result in a site-specific or systemic infection, which in turn may cause hospitalization, significant morbidity, or a fatal outcome,” a recall [notice](https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/viatrexx-bio-incorporated-issues-voluntary-nationwide-recall-sterile-injectables-due-lack-sterility?ref=fdaweb.com) says. To date, Viatrexx says it has not received any adverse event reports related to the recall.
