Warning Letter Against Herbal Products for Covid-19

FDA has sent Herbs of Kedem a Warning Letter after reviewing the company’s Web site (www.kedemnatural.com) and determining that it is offering for sale unapproved new drugs for treating Covid-19 patients. The company is promoting its herbal products as being safe and effective for treating Covid-19, the agency says. The agency also objected to numerous product claims that began with “Corona Virus Prevention.” FDA told the company to take immediate action to correct the violations cited in the letter. It is also advising consumers not to purchase or use its products for Covid-19.
