Yale Working with FDA on Trial Diversity

The FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity has awarded the Yale School of Medicine a $3 million contract to promote clinical trial education, awareness, and access for underrepresented minorities. A Yale statement says the medical school made great strides in that area during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and the work being funded by FDA will build on those efforts by further refining approaches to building trust and participation in trials in diverse communities across the country.
